About our Brewery
This is where the magic happens.
Palm City started as a hobby that turned into a passion, and became a dream come true. Ryan, owner and brewer spent countless hours brewing recipes in his garage, year over year. He entered competitions and shared his craft and love of craft beer with anyone who would listen. One day he walked in the house to share a taste of his “Last Laugh” and his wife instantly fell in love with it! That night they started to put together a business plan to continue to spread the love of craft beer. So here we are today, welcoming everyone from the seasoned beer drinkers, to the lovers of craft beer to the novice and “non beer drinkers” alike we try new things everyday and hope that you’ll come and share a flight or pint with us too!
Being able to make my dream a reality, with the best staff and customers has made this adventure better than anything I could have imagined. Being creative and getting the opportunity to share my love of craft beer with the community makes me want to get up every morning and do more! I couldn’t love this brand or “job” anymore!
AKA: Jack of all Trades
My passion for craft beer started at 6am on a Saturday morning in 2011 when Ryan introduced me to
home brewing. The journey of Palm City Brewing from countless hours in the garage to brewery has
been nothing short amazing. Often referred to as the Swiss Army Knife you may find me behind the bar,
on the brew stand, or anywhere in between
Sales Rep/ Lead Bartender
AKA: Dance King
“Norm!” The regulars excidely cheer as you enter through the open garage door. The smell of hops and SPF 15 offer a familiar comfort. AS you approach, the bartender offers your “usual” draft, but something else catches your eye: something not so routine. The ice cold pint slides it’s way into you sun-kissed grasp as a warm breeze topples the Jenga game across the room. With every sip, your worries melt away as you think to your “This is Paradise”
AKA Momma Bear “I love the world class customers and amazing beer we get to bring to the area everyday, helping people new to “craft” try new things and fall in love with our beer it so exciting. I love creating new and exciting events to bring family and friends together to enjoy each other’s time”
Kent got into craft beers 3 years ago when he became a server at a craft beer bar. A couple years later came across his old basketball coach, Ryan Bowen, who was opening up his own brewery a year later. The rest is history… my craft beer passion continues to grow as the time goes.
Outside of the brewery, Kent loves to work out and shoot hoops, enjoy some good music and Philly sports.
Trip’s craft beer journey started about 5 years ago while pursuing his Political Science degree at Florida Gulf Coast University. He started off home brewing, using small boxed beer kits and moved onto developing his own recipes, focusing mostly on his two favorite beer styles, wild ales and IPAs.
When not at the brewery, you can either find Trip mountain bike riding at one of the state parks in the area, or creating new recipes for home brews.
Hey everyone! I grew up near the San Carlos Proper area and a I keep my Inner Circle of friends and family close. Some people might think I have a Hidden Agenda because I work at Palm City as a Part Timer, but what they don’t know is that I love working here and I always
“My favorite things about working at PCB, Little Junie Stout, crazy variety of great customers (and babies) I get to meet, and since Casey cut his hair, I now have the best hair on staff!”
We also wanted to dedicate time to acknowledge Korey. Without his igniting a passion deep within Ryan, none of this would be possible. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer and passed away shortly before our grand opening, but we know he is watching and cheering us on everyday!
